We’ve been releasing teasers over the last month but it’s finally here. The brand new version of BugHerd has just been released.
Who does it affect?
Everyone. If you log into BugHerd you’ll notice there’s a bunch of new features in your admin panel and a brand new sidebar for reporting bugs.
If your BugHerd trial has ended and you’d like to give the new version a go, just let us know here: support@bugherd.com
Free bug reporters
By “free” we mean you don’t have to pay for them, not that they’re in some kind of prison…
If you missed the sneak peek, we’ve added a new feature: the bug reporter. An overview of the bug reporter role is available here: http://blog.bugherd.com/sneak-peek-new-bug-reporter-role-coming-soon
The best part is these users are available for free on all of our paid plans! You’ve got no excuse now not let all your staff, clients or customers test your website.
New sidebar with loads of new features
If you missed the sneak peek, we’ve also completely redesign the sidebar used to report bugs. An overview of the new features is available here: http://blog.bugherd.com/sneak-peek-new-sidebar-coming-soon
The big changes are it loads like lightning, has full text searching, supports Internet Explorer and scales to suit even our largest teams. We’ve also improved bug tagging so it’s now a heap more reliable!
Let us know what you think
Existing users may also want to check out the slightly more technical post on our support site.
The are lots of changes in this update and we’d really love to know what you think. Love it, hate it? We’re all ears: support@bugherd.com
