More integrations for BugHerd.

You told us what tools you’d like to use with BugHerd and we listened! BugHerd now has integrations with Redmine and GitHub!

In addition to our existing integrations with Basecamp and the very popular Pivotal Tracker, we have some fresh new integrations asked for by you, our awesome users. Please keep telling us about those applications that you want to use in conjunction with BugHerd and head over to our feedback site (the little tab on the left on our site).

Please note that integrations are still in beta at this point and to enable them you need to login to BugHerd and go to: http://www.bugherd.com/settings. Once enabled, go to your project page and select Integrations, in the top menu.

GitHub

GitHub is a simple, one way integration. When you add GitHub to your project, you will be able to select any repository you are a part of and BugHerd will sync tasks and comments to the issue section as they change. This will allow the people following your web project to quickly see the state of any open and closed issues found.

Redmine

For Redmine we have developed a full 2-way integration. It means that any task synced to Redmine and is updated there, those changes are reflected back into BugHerd. Before you get started, please install our BugHerd for Redmine plugin into your Redmine server, which enables the communication to take place. Once you’re up and running, you can manage issues from either end. The developers and designers on the project can take full advantage of the ease of use of BugHerd and you don’t have to give up on all the cool features of Redmine, like wikis, forums, gannt charts, and other plugins.

As always, if you have any issues or questions, please drop us an email at support@bugherd.com and we’ll do our best to help you out!
