Just as Matt and Alan arrived in Mountain View for some facetime with the fine folks at 500Startups, we heard Bugherd’s won a place competing for an AUD150k pool of cash prizes in the prestigious Australian startup event, Tech23 on 23 August in Surry Hills, Sydney.

This will be the third time Tech23 has helped unearthed some great Australian startups and like our 22 competitors, we’ll be given five minutes to demo our product and explain our business model to an auditorium of 400-odd potential investors, partners and clients.

Do we feel lucky, punk? Actually, the competition just in our Enterprise category is very strong; we’re up against great startups like Cinergix’s Creately, Kaggle, and Effective Measure. We better bring our A Game, our Game Faces and maybe some chocolate for the judges.
